Band Maid saattaa olla yksi aikamme huomattavimmista hard rock(?) - bändeistä. Rumpali Akane Hirose, ja helvatan kova sellainen, on siitä poikkeuksellinen että hän muistaakseni aloitti rumpujen soiton vasta 19-vuotiaana, kun useimmiten japanilaiset naisrumpalit (Yoyoka Soma, Senri Kavaguchi, Kanade Sato, jne) ovat aloittaneet jopa reilustikkin alle 5-vuotiaina!
