Maharishi warned us that the big, huge phase transition:

Would be violent
That we should remain on the level of Para (Transcendent)
That we should be very, very, very, very, steady
That we should not get upset for any little or any big reason, and
That we don’t give importance to things that may upset us
That’s the technique. Just don’t give importance to it
 
During this phase transition thousands of years of deep-seated stress must come to the surface and mountains of Karma must be resolved in order to clear the path for the Age of Enlightenment. How this will unfold and how long it will take is unknown*, but Maharishi was clear that the collective consciousness will govern the duration and severity.
